Our HONEST Story
The Honest Home Company is a home care and hygiene brand that produces plant-based, non-toxic, and really reasonably priced home care products for the real India. Not only high-end urban consumers. For working parents, joint families, and anybody else who desires a cleaner house without polluting the environment in the process. We took great care in selecting this name.
We are truthful about the ingredients in every product we produce, using only pure ingredients free of artificial perfumes and chemicals. Sincere about its packaging: it is made with as little plastic as possible and is recyclable. Sustainability shouldn't be a luxury tax on daily life; be truthful about its cost.
Everything that goes into maintaining a clean and functional house. The paper goods, cleansers, sprays, and kitchen necessities. The majority of it is filled with chemicals, covered in plastic, and priced so that the better alternative seems unaffordable. We felt that needed to be fixed.
Our approach is exemplified by our powder-to-liquid cleaning structure. We lower the amount of plastic per unit, lessen the weight during transportation, and pass the savings on to the customer by eliminating water from the formula. Nearly three times more economical, not because we took shortcuts, but rather because we completely rethought the format.
We have complete control over quality and formulas because we manufacture at our own facilities in Uttar Pradesh. We provide everything an Indian home needs, including floor and kitchen cleaners, food wrappers, paper goods, bamboo-based necessities, and personal hygiene items.
Through Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, DMart, Bigbasket, CRed, Milkbasket, JioMart, Smart Bazaar, and an expanding offline network, we provide monthly services to more than a million homes. Over 350 tons of plastic trash have been eliminated so far because of our product and packaging choices. By 2027, 500 tons is our goal. The concept of sustainability is not what we are here to promote.
Our goal is to make it the apparent, reasonably priced, and daily option for Indian homes. We don't want to overclaim or engage in greenwashing; we just want items that are functional and a brand that stands for what it says. That is the only kind of honest home worth building.
